When I stop, place explorer in park, and try to get out of the drivers door it will only auto unlock 50% of the time. I changed the batteries in the key FOBs are issue still remains.

Anyone else ran into this issue?

2016 limited.

I don't believe the fob batteries have anything to do with this door function. According to the Manual, all doors should unlock as soon as you shut the vehicle OFF. Are opening the door right after shutting the vehicle down? Have you tried resetting the autounlock feature?

Vehicle is put in park, shut off, and door attempting to open. By resetting auto unlock, turning the feature on and off via the cluster? I tried that. Might try pull the battery idk.

Yes, to turning feature OFF/ON in cluster. It may not help but you could try the battery pull. Just curious as to why it works sometimes and not at other times.
