I just purchased a Sirius Sportster 5 radio. I've read reviews on how the built in FM transmitter in the Sirius radios is very weak so I purchased a hardwire kit with the wired FM modulator. I really want to somehow run it into an aux input into my factory radio but don't think it can be done. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. First off my system is stock Ford and is not the Audiophile system. My Explorer came with the single cd radio but I swapped in a Ford 6 disc in-dash radio. The radio I have does NOT have the "SAT" or "AUX" buttons. I called a company who makes aux input adaptors for factory radios and was told to press and hold the "CD" button on my radio and if it says "NO CD DJ FOUND" then they have an adaptor available but mine does not do this. Hopefully someone out there has somehow figured this out.
