The truck I'm looking at buying has the premium sound w/ pioneer 6disk changer. The only thing I dont like about this system is that it doesn't have a tape deck. I use the tape deck in my '00XLT to play my Ipod via one of those tapes with the headphone cable on it.

Anyway, I would like to use my ipod via a direct line into this pioneer system, does anyone know if they have any aux ports on the back of the head unit?

Thanks.

There is no port, and currently there is not a device that adds one on. The cheapest alternative to an FM Transmitter so far is to buy an aftermarket unit.

Bah, I dont have a need for an aftermarket unit, I actually like the stock pioneer one a lot. FM transmitters suck with sound quality. The tape deck adapter is kinda ghetto, but with a shorter wire and a good Ipod mount it actually looks really clean in my 00. It also has very little (if any) loss in sound quality.

I guess I'll keep looking. There's gotta be a way to hook one up. Thanks for the help.

I thought that the Bliztsafe didn't work with the OEM 6disc indash.
