Aviator side views on my 02 explorer?

Yes It's Possible

You need the mirrors...expensive $$$$

It's pretty plain and simple...all your doing is changing your mirror out.

But most important...why? They actually look pretty stupid on our trucks
 






Just feel like I'm very limited on my side view, is there a pic of it?
 












I see what you mean, looks very erm non truckish it blunt terms, but limited sight is my problem, next step is lift kit and solid urban/ light off roading rims

Trust me I had the same idea you had until someone showed me those pics lol

If I find a way to fit F150 standard or towing mirrors I'll let you know.

If you don't like the look of the Aviator mirrors, then look into 4th gen Eplorer/Mountaineer mirrors.

If I'm not mistaken, you simply pull the door panel off, there will be three screws plus wiring you'll need to unplug and then you swap the mirrors. I believe there is a writeup somewhere that someone did when they swapped out to different mirrors.
