Aviator vs Explorer seat question

So I have an 03 Aviator and no one seems to make any replacement seat covers for this model. Are the Explorer seats the same dimensions? In other words would explorer covers fit an Aviator

I don't think they are. you could probably swap the foam cushion and seat cover from the explorer onto the Avi seat frame, but that's a pretty involved process.

I’ve found that most Aviator seats at the wrecking yards are in good shape.
