AWD 1997 Eddie Bauer Transfer Case

Hi,

I need some assistance. I am trying to rmove my transfer case and cannot get to the bolt nearest the exhaust. I tried from up top and down low. I cannot get a bite on thie bolt head. Any suggestions?

Use a floor jack to support the tranny. Remove the tranny crossmember bolts. You should be able to raise it or lower it a good amount to access all the bolts.
