Ok, call me gullible or dumb but I was talking to my mechanic a while back and asked him about adding power to my 5.0L X. He said that he didn't think that the front end would handle much more power reliably. So, I see here people have obviously added many HP to their AWD X's. My question is; Is the front end more capable than the mechanic said or were there modifications necessary to add considerable power and how much power can it handle?

whatever...

From what I have heard, the front end is as powerful as the rear. I have tons of bolt-ons, not to mention a supercharger and 125hp nitrous spray. I don't think you will have a problem... what are you planning to do?

I'm planning on doing pretty much everything I can...eventually. Intake, chip, exhaust, heads (maybe) and a 'charger. Gotta do the suspension first though...need shocks.

Call Saleen NOW!

I am not sure if they have any more but they were getting rid of their rear sways for your car for $30. Well worth it!
