awd gears????

hello to all i have not gone to pick up my 97 merc. yet so i wanted to know @ what gear's she may have,and if anyone has done a 3:55 front and rear and how it go's.

Bob.. chances are you'll have 3.73s in the AWD. It seems about 90% of them do. You may get lucky and have 4.10s or not so lucky at get 3.55s.

I'm not sure what you're asking about the 3.55s... but since they're the worst gears you can get in the 5.0 theres no reason you would want to put them in if you don't have them.

thankyou for the info on the gears,i'm used to putting the 3:55s in the stangs it was on my mind i'm about to go put some in for a buddy tonight.
if any one has the 4:10s how is gas mi.

I'd try using the search feature, but that's just me
