I am about to hang my TTB beams back under my rig after the re-gear and repaint... I have a big bucket of all the bolts I took off, but I can't seem to find any that don't have slack when I push them through the new axle pivot bushing I installed. They are all a little loose. What size are the axle pivot bolts supposed to be? Can I just go get ones that fit? Are they something special or just grade 5 or 8? Don't need to start a 5 vs. 8 argument here either. Just curious if there is anything special about them so I can get some that are tight.

They are M14 bolts. A 9/16" will replace them if you can't find M14. Grade 10.9 (metric) or 8 (SAE) is needed here.

The stock bolts should have the 10.9 grade stamped on the flange head, and be just long enough to go through the bracket and have the flange nut tighten up without a whole lot sticking out.

If you can't find them, M14 grade 8.8 bolts are a pretty standard replacement, on the rear suspension leaf spring hangers and shackles as well. Try to go with all-metal locknuts if you can.

Shot in the dark, but does anyone know the actual length of the bolts as well? I am at work and want to hit Nut and Bolt on the way home. Not a big deal but I thought I'd try...
