OK!

I'm running actually on my '92 Explorer a 2 in lift kit. 31X10.5 as tires and 4" backspacing with wheels. I still ahve rubbing with that tires and I'm planning to get 4" suspension lift.

I've already build 2 sets of drop brackets for radius arms ( one with 2" drop and the other with 4" drop). I want to buy drop brackets for my axle pivot but I'm stopped with few questions about that.

Do a 2" longer axle pivot drop bracket would give me 2" of more lift or it just drop the axle down of 2"?

Would it be better to install a 4" axle pivot drop bracket?

Your not going to gain any lift throught the bracket...that's all dependent on your springs. You will need at least a 2" lift bracket just to get the alignment sorta right...i htink i'd get a 4" lift bracket, that way you could easily put a set of f150 spacers for alittle extra lift :D

OK thanks!

I'll be going with a 4" drop brackets for my axle pivot...

should I go with 4" drop for the radius arm brackets too?
