Axle swap for a 93 4x4

is it possible to change the 93 front axle(hub to hub) from a newer x(non i beam)...just wondering how big of a job it is.....thanks 4 da help

Welcome to the site.
to a later model explorer (torsion bar) front end? why would you want too? i would swap in a solid axle for wheeling, or just mod the current i beam for street..... the ifs design of later years was not good for offroad, but was more street oriented

well my X isnt exactly a wheelin machine.....i actually want to be able to lower 4 inches and i cant sit it lower than inch and a half w/ i beam.....

sell it for a 4x2 and lower that....
