Im trying to figure out what is the best way to do a front axle swap on a 92 explorer an a 2000 ranger. They will both be lifted about 9in to clear 36in tires with some room left. But i cant find the right axles to us and am needing some help.

Welcome to the forum. You should do a search all the info is here along with a hundred diffent opinons on how to do the same thing.

For 36's a danna 44 would do fine for the front-- your 8.8 would be fine in the rear. 9" of lift is quite a bit, and you won't find a kit that high. Remeber when you change axles you will have to change, driveshafts, rims, geears, and new lockers, shocks, ect ect ect. Pretty pricey.

You want to talk to Ben (Whitetrashfab) Forest (Abe Lincoln) and Joe (jrgaylor)

Ben and Joe are down that way and thye have mega experience doing SAS projects.
