I'm thinking about offering the Azentek GPS Smart Mirror and I wanted to get some feedback around here about what kind of demand there might be for something like this.

They list for $999 and the normal retail price is $799. They will probably sell for a couple of hundred off retail. So you tell me, would you buy something like this to use in your vehicle? I think it's a great product, but I'd really like your input to know if this is "worth it".

For $800?! That's about a $200 mirror, tops. I'd rather drop my money into a H/U with a larger screen that has more functions.

Nah! I don't find it so smart, a short person might not be able to reach confortably to the touch screen part, and for that money you can build your self a carputer with much more features, or as Section said, a good HU with all of those functions and more....

Well I ended up deciding not to carry this product. Azentek was extremely unresponsive and very difficult to work with. The product is actually pretty cool, but not worth the price they want for it.

Not to mention also that in some cars, the light sensor for things like auto lamps is built into the mirror. I think 2nd Gen Explorers are this way, and even my moms Expedition. :exp:
