B&M Shift Kit (Improver)

Ive searched the forums but I havent gotten a clear answer to my questions. Im considering a B&M Shift Improver. Now my two question are these. Will a Shift Improver kit help, or harm, my A4LD which is already notorious for being a pathetic tranny? And two, does the kit place less strain on the tranny as I have heard, or was I talking to someone without a clue?

Doesn't harm the tranny. If anything, it helps.
