I want to order some new "b" rated torsion bars for my truck. They are just under $50 each at ford parts network. I think that the stiffer bars will allow me to acheive the full 2" from a tt, rather than the 1.5"-1.75" I get now. Anyone who has done this I'd apreciate some feedback. Thanks.

$100 for .25"-.5" of lift?

What are your current t-bars? Have you tried longer bolts?

Try looking around at junkyards or www.car-part.com. Heck, I gave my B bars away.:)

well its not just for the extra lift, its because my new skid plate weighs so much that I'm pretty sure that the front is really going to sag under that load with my current softer bars. But I'd like longer bolts, too.

I thought the "B" rated bars are the soft ones.

According to Ford (and GJarrett) the 'B' bars are the stiffest.

I got B rated bars in my old truck that im slowly parting out. If someone can tell me how to take them out I'll sell them to ya.

does anyone know where i can get longer adjuster bolts for my torsion bars. i cranked them all the way the other day and can only get .5" out of the driver side.
