Different rated Ford Torsion Bars

I'm in the market for some heavier duty torsion bars than what came on my stock '98 xlt. From what i can tell, i have D rated bars, which is what it says on that label on my drivers door under the label "TR". I saw GJarret has B rated torsion bars. my question is where can i find some heavier duty bars? i know ford makes them, how can i get my hands on some higher rated bars? seems that this is the only way to lift my front end. thanks alot!

Actually it's not the only way to do lift it, but it's one of the easiest. I have done this mod and have the ability to get easily 3 inches of lift out of the front, but it's not good on the CV's.

Have you already tried to crank the t-bars?

How 'bout trying your local dealer, www.fordpartsnetwork.com , or a junkyard (I use www.junkyarddog.com if I can't find it locally)?

I'm not sure what rating they are but if you go to gefracing.com and go to the collision parts section the torsion bars themselves are only $43 for the right and $38 for the left.

yeah ive cranked my stock ones up, but of course it could go for a little more.
