Matt,

From what I "heard", he was in line to go down into another obstacle, he got impatient and decided to see how far up the wall he could make it. Started up, bounced on a rock with his front wheel, and over she came. Needless to say, the other people there where not very happy with him, and not very compassionate. He broke formation and tried to go up an unauthorized "trail".

Of course I was not in that group, this is what I heard.
