Its a somewhat vague question, but what I am wondering is when it comes to a fullwidth axle swap, how much backspacing can you typically run with out causing problems.
I am working on plans for my swap when I get back to the states and would like to keep the width to a minimum when it comes to highway driving/legality but also have the strength and durability of a D44/9" combo compared to a D30. That combo is a plus, since I already have a 9" with a detroit and 4.56 gears ready to go in.
Just wondering how close I can tuck in a set of 33s on fullwidths, trying to keep them from sticking out too much.
Thanks, Josh
