Hi, love all the info and help from you guys! I have a quick question. I have a 93 XLT without the towing pkg, and recently bought the trailer light harness that plugs in near the rear washer res. I put heavy duty flasher in also. everything works right, except it blows the turn signal 15 amp fuse after I turn on blinker. Should I run a seperate grnd wire from frame to boat? Thanks

I had this problem also. I just ran a ground wire from the trailer harness wrapped around the hitch tongue. Did the trick.

I have the trailer grounded real good on the tongue, just the only ground the vehicle is getting is throught the ball I guess. Thanks for the reply. I looked at this site for a few weeks, and since have put B&M tranny cooler, in-line tranny filter, and poly RA bushings, with you guys' help. Thanks!

Brian, have you tested both side blinkers; left and right? I'm thinking that you may have a short circuit somewhere on the trailer, maybe in one of the bulb sockets (since it's a boat trailer)......?

I have not check out the trailer lights, but did run all new wiring to the old lights, that seemed to be OK,although I really didn't inspect the socket. I will try that also. Thanks
