hey guys, i just recently bought a used 2000 mountaineer nearly identical to my previous rolled 1998 explorer, they both had a 5.0L V8, automatic w/ overdrive, both 4WD, the explorer had 103k miles and the mounty has 32k, but my mpg on the mounty is 13.5 and on the explorer i used to get 17.5
is the engine still breaking in (which after 32k you'd think it would be well broken in), or is there something outstandingly different about the mounty and explorer that i dont know?
or do you think the previous owner of the mounty played w/ the timings, im not sure at all...any ideas?
