Aight guys went to the junkyard today...couldnt find any coil seats that wont rusted or busted....But my luck i found an explorer just like mine with a bronco beside it. Took the bronco coil springs for 8 bucks. They are about 2 inches taller without any load on them than my springs, they should fit right?. Also got the shackles today and wood to build a box for my cb....Gonna bedliner it...Also got new speakers, some oem black paint, offroad lights and some deep creep...So any more ideas on mods? Im gonna post before and after pics up here when im done.

I looked at the Bronco springs but decided on the F150 springs. The F150 springs gave me 2.5" lift. the bronco springs looked like they were much softer. you may notget any lift after the heavy X has some weight on them. But i'll bet you will be able to flex like mad.
let us know what you get.

Idk didnt broncos have v8 in them? If they did i think ill get some lift

i would assume bronco springs and f150 springs of the same year(s) would be the same. an f150 is just a longer bronco with a bed. most likely the same suspension in the front too, D44 ttb i believe...

i think it depends on what year cuz my buddy has a early bronco with SA not a ttb

True, the Bronco I looked at was an early model with SA. They looked longer than the f150, but smaller gauge spring.

idk i think in the end ill get some lift and if i need it i might be able to snag some F150 coil seats. Someone told me 120 for them at a junkyard because they where a high dollar item... I looked at him stupid..

If they are like the f150 springs you will need camber bushings. I got 3 degree @ napa for $16 each, the 4 degree were $45. I also recommend the f250 shock mount and longer shocks. I can look later, if your interested, and give you the part number for the Pro comp shocks. They were 21" extended which was 1" shorter than my total droop. Don't bother with the spacers. If you get the lift I did, you will not be able to align. My 3 degree cams are a hair from being maxed out. By the way, the cams are PIA to change. Use two chisels for wedges, you'll know when you look at them.

Be sure and measure from your wheel lip to the bottom of the flare @ the fender (or any other place that's static). that way you can get a clear idea of your achieved lift. Then you can make some shackles. I bought 48" of 1/4" flat bar. Then I cut it @ 12" and drilled holes. they are strong, but I should have drilled @ 10" apart instead of 9.5". It is ever so slightly lower in the rear.
