bad starter

1993 started good went to store.come out turned on key one click.tried a few
times one click.towed it home.started up fine.awhile later no start tapped on
the starter started up fine.is the starter going bad. battery good wires good
and tight

check the condition of your cables. if they are fine, and you had to hit it to move, chances are its a bad starter. sometimes they develop "flat spots" so they wont work correctly anymore. looks like you need a new starter.
