title says it all...

i got a 2002 ford explorer 4.0 xls with 4x4

starter is bad i am pretty sure, had a bad battery in it, told wife not to drive it, i guess i should have hid the keys, got a call one day and she was at work and said the car wouldnt start. starter was clicking and now makes no clicking at all, i am thinking starter is bad, put a new battery in it and when i turn the key on the door buzzer starts dinging, radio comes on, etc but when do to start, one click and thats all, i am thinking it is the starter...

so if i am right, what does it take to get this starter off? i looked under the car and it seems it is quite in there and things would have to be removed to make this swap. is this the case? what has to be done to switch the starter?

Thanks!

Doug
