ball joints installed - Lube question

Just installed the upper and lower ball joints but I couldnt grease the ball joints as my grease gun is a pos and wont work! So, is it ok to drive it about 20 miles to the parts store for a new grease gun and also the alignement? From what I could tell, the new Moog ball joints were completely dry - no grease

I wouldn't recommend it at all.. Your asking for a failure of the balljoints with no grease.

Greaseable balljoints are dry because they usually shipped in pieces like the boot isn't on yet and whatnot.


yes grease them before driving.
