Hey guys
I was wondering what subs are going to give me the best bang for the buck. I'm looking for 12's and I'm not too worried about sq. I need to know what you think is a quality sub that hits hard.
Thanks
Ryan

Get the Adire Audio Shiva... looks plain but look at the specs. Goes down to 21Hz no problem. It has linear exursion of 15.8mm ONE WAY. Oh yeah, it's only $100US.

I have just a single one in a 3CF ported box tuned to 30Hz box with only ~200W RMS going to it @ 4ohms and the thing slams. When I pulled up to my buddy's house he told me I was rattling his windows.

I can be heard at block away with this thing. Also the sub has the most incredible SQ. It is tighter than most 10s. Remember it's not the size of the sub - it's the type of surround, motor and weight of the cone.

Adire has 15" called the Tempest which I run in my room... rattles flat down to 20Hz with 250W RMS @ 4ohms but don't let it fool you... it kicks the **** out of most 10s and 12s in transient response.

Hmmm....do you want the best bang for your buck, or the best (((BOOM))) for your buck:D ?

I would check out Resonant Engineering. I believe there site is down right now, working on getting the 2003 lineup out. www.respl.com

audiobahn all the way in my opinion, www.thezeb.com for great deals

I personally HATE audiobahn but everyone has an opinion. I say elemental designs K series. They are dirt cheap and are unbelievable!!!!
