Hi im just posting this because i have searched and found nothing on the subject and think this would benefit anyone searching in the future.

Problem: slow battery drain with no consistency and most noticeably brake light warning on dash stays on when truck is OFF completely off..

Solution: i ran a drain test with multimeter on 10A and found that the DRL fuse was drawing up and down between 1 - 4 amps my daytime running lights have not worked for a long time but have just started recently to drain my battery slowly overnight and sometimes quicker than others my guess is the module wherever it is is corroded or malfunctioning but i do not need daytime runners so i just removed the fuse if anyone else has experienced this and wants to add some words on how to fix the daytimes plz do.

and if anyone would like to add as to why the brake warning lamp is hooked up to the DRL im interested or if removing this fuse will make the warning lamp no longer functional would be great to know thx
