battery help on 97 5.0

does anyone here know where the wires lead to under the engine on a 2nd gen v8 from the battery? from the ground theres 2 wires, one that goes to the body right in front of the battery, and the other goes down somewhere....where?

the positive really confuses me...theres like 2 coming from the battery terminal, then it looks as it splits into more....where do they all go?

basically im needing to move my battery under the hood, to behind my front seats. what would be the BEST way to do this? run new wires completely? or extend the stock ones (chop off the battery ring and extend to the rear cabin)?

i need detailed information on all this please, it really confuses me lol

If its like the first gens, the other ground goes to the frame and then to the engine block. For the + there should be one going to the starter, one to the starter soleniod, and power distro-box, there may be a few others. It would be best to install new wires, not that hard to do, just time consuming.
