Battery Light at Stop lights only

Have two Issues that came up about the same time.

First is the battery light has started to flicker while stopped at lights or stop signs. When I accelerate the light goes off or if I keep the RPMs above 1200 is doesn’t come on. Could this be a bad belt? Or maybe a signal my alternator is going?

# Check engine light just came back on. Had O2 sensor replaced and throttle body/fuel injectors cleaned about 1 month ago for emissions. Could this be an after product of the above problem?

By the way this is a 96 XLT with 5.0 V8 with about 128k.

yeah, your alternator is going south.
It is not greneating enough juice to make the system happy.
Easy swap.

2 I dunno, see if you can pull the code at an atuozone or simular place
