optima batteries are good. i have used them in the past. they don't live up to their hype. they are really just batteries that do what they are supposed to do most of the time- just like any other.
IF you plan on running that inverter i'd recommend going with a red top or similar starting battery and a deep cycle auxiliary battery with an isolator between the two. An isolator will run about $60 for a 200 amp (i have one for sale though cheap).
personally i am running 7 svr 80-12s in my explorer now and i love them. plus having that many batteries makes me feel like a battery expert!
