Seat of Pants means how it feels powerwise. Does it feel more powerful? With that kit can you run it straight back under the rear bumper? Just wonder how that k&n can make more power than the KMM with all those bends in it.

Indeed it feel a lot more powerful!... When you step on it, you really see the difference in the acceleration and reaction of the engine.

With this magnaflow kit, you can only run it behind the left rear wheel.

for the K&N, my dealer told me that the difference with this model is that it's completely made of composite plastic... no metal or soft plastic at all witch absorb the heat of reduce airflow. The way the KKN is made I think is just a way to replace the gigantic plastic box with the air filter in and putting a cone air filter at the end with a space for the sensor... but it doesn't take away the rubber end and plastic reservoirs on the stock air intake. ''That's what I think is the more decent way of seeing the power gain of the K&N''

Would you happen to know the offset of those wheels? I'm looking at some 265/70-17, which are roughly equivalent to your 265/75-16, but yours look like they are sticking out a little more than I would want to...

Hey! i found the offset of the wheels, on this website, it says pretty much anything you'dd like to know.

The offset if +12.00mm... with the tires i've got on, it rubs a little only when i go on reverse or on full turn in a slope

Good job, looks great. Thank GOD you made it home in one piece. Thank you for your service. JMO but would you consider de-badging and losing the roof racks(unless you use it).

how about some roof lights?...and maybe ditch the running boards so it has a higher stance?

Yess, I thought aboud de-badging but I wasn't sure of how to do it and the results it would give if made by someone like me

For the roof rack, i'll be painting the silver part and next monday or tuesday, i'll start bending my pieces to make my own safari rack. I bought 6 KC type offroad lights that will be mounted on the rack as well as the brush guard(going in clayton next week to get it! HUNTER truck parts dont deliver in canada!!)

This afternoon, i'll post a picture of the plan I made for the rack!
