I've been on the site quite a bit, just registered. Most of my questions have already been covered 
Anyway, I have a nice and dirty 1996 Ex XLT, only a 2wd :-/, but has the 302. Picked it up in October for a whopping $500 (Police impound).
I work 6 days, they'd have me work 7 if I let tem. So on Sunday's I work on the Explorer. Yes it runs and drives, no idea how many miles are on it, since the odometer stopped working properly at around 154k miles, probably a worm gear. But there's always something that needs to be fixed or improved, or simply make it the way I prefer.
I didn't mention it was impounded because the dude was drunk, looked like he lived in it too.
