Belt squealing noise.

I have a 1999 Explorer V6 OHV.
My belt kept making noise when starting and stops soon after.
I was checking the power steering pump and it seems kinda tight when turned by hand.
And it only started making noise with the new belt.
It steers fine but making some noise.
New pump :thumbdwn:
And the filter were is it and how hard is it to replace?

i don't know about the v6's, but on the v8's a bad cam position sensor often causes a chipping/squeaking noise. remove the belt and see if the noise goes away.

It's the belt and the sounds from the power steering pulley.
