I have a friend that put a front bench seat from an old cadillac in his 73 chevy and i was thinking if the width was good how hard would mounting be in an explorer. I have a 1991 eddie bauer and i was wondering if anyone has experience in this. any advice or forwarning about a project like this would be much appreciated. thanks

anybody? has anyone even thought of something like this?

If the width was good it would be as simple as mounting brackets to the bottom of the seats and then mounting them to the car. A easier option would be bench seats from a ranger because they'll fit perfectly!

i've thought of it...but then i remember i have a two door and if anyone wanted in the back seet i'd have to move the whole damn row not just the one seat

lol eah that would be a pain, ive though about a rnager seat, the only reason i ouwld want a cadillac seat is because of the nestalga of having a cadillac beanch seat haha

my broncoII has the 60/40 split bench and it slides forward with the same entry room as my sport buckets have to get to the back seat. only bad thing about bench seat is you lose the center console.
