OK, now I know this has been discussed MANY MANY times in the past, however no one ever quite gave a clear answer if the 2006-2010 Explorer 2nd row Bucket Seats (limited only) would be able to be easily bolted down in our SportTracs.
I have been eyeing a set of 2nd rop Captain Seats & Center Console from a wrecked 2006 Mountaineer on Ebay for $650, and have been holding off since I cannot confirm they will actually fit. Now we took in trade a 2007 Explorer Limited w/ this feature (I'm a sales manager at large Ford Dealership) and am curious now that looking at this if they will fit, as the normal Explorers have the flip forward option in the 2nd row where we do not appear to have that hook in the floor. Looks like we have a large metal plate bolted over where it is suposed to be. My question is if anyone knows that this will work, before I spend the day taking seats out just to find out I wasted my day. I now have two viable options in front of me to make this swap, and don't want to miss it.
If anyone has any more info as to this, it would be greatly appreciated.
