Mods.. I was trying to find the most suitable forum for this, so if you think It would be better in a different location feel free to move it.
As some of you might now, Advance Auto Parts stopped carrying the Bendix line of brake pads and rotors. Honestly, I have had great luck with this line of brake products both personally and with selling them to customers.
If youre like me and still have Bendix brakes on your vehicle that were purchased through Advance Auto or PartsAmerica.com you can still get warranty on the parts. The pads will be switched out with Wagner Thermo-Quiets as a direct replacement, or the money can be put towards another brand of brakes.
So what if you want another set of Bendix brake pads? Not all hope is lost. The pads/shoes that were recalled were re-boxed under the Wearever Gold and Silver line. Look for a hand placed white label on the boxes, in the lower left corner you will see the Bendix name and the bendix part number. When you open the box you should find the trademark ceter blue stripe on the Bendix pads.
You might have to do some searching, and dont be afraid to ask the team member if you can look at the boxes. Hopefully some of you loyal Bendix customers can use this information, I know I've been stockpiling a couple sets of brake pads.
