Here's the deal, I need a new rear axle well just the pass side I guess, whoever had this truck before me bent it pretty good. There is no door sticker on the door jam, and well the truck I plan on getting an axle from don't have one either, all I have to go by is axle tags. So here's what mine says

5622D
3 27 88 2J30

What does this mean or what do I need to look for to get the right axle or well one that isn't bent. I'm just gonna get the passenger axle of this parted out vehicle, nothing else. Any help would be appreciated...thanks

Just went through this a few days ago. Again:
5622D = axle model number: this is usually what you need to get parts.
3 27 = gear ratio. An L in the decimal point (3L27) indicates traction lock carrier.
88 = ring gear size (8.8 in)
2J30 = production sequence. Identifies this axle assembly.
