I've tried several different products to clean my rims, but still had an ace up my sleeve. Today I decided to pull out all stops, stop screwing around and try this product. I've used it on polishing brass and other items, never had used it on my X before. What is it? MAAS metal polishing creme. This stuff it a miracle worker. I was most impressed by it when I used it to clean some brass handles with between 25 and 50 years of tarnish on it, and it worked like a charm. My mom got this stuff a while back, and I'm using the last of the tube tonight, been searching for more, but kind of hard to find on a late Sat. night at 1 am.
Here's their webpage, I definately recommend trying it out. And if you're not satisfied with it on you X, it can polish jewelry, knobs, anything you can think of so it's not a waste.

Haven't used the stuff in the bottle, but the metal polishing creme in the little tube it great. Not much in it, but it goes a long way.
