Best Fluid for Power Steering?

My 2000 XLS has just the beginning of the famous Ford power steering whine. What is the best fluid for the pump? Thanks.

Drain it and add Mobil1 ATF. It always kept mine quiet. Any Mercon V spec ATF will do though.

Plus one on Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. I use it in a number of cars...both for PS and AT.
