Hello,

I currently have Goodyear Fortera's on the 16" teardrop rims.

The cheapest quote I've got a tire shop around here is around $600, installed.

However I've heard of people getting good deals online for tires.

Any input on this?

Thanks!

If you can somehow get dealer pricing, tire rack has the 235/70 16 which is stock on mine, fortera hl editions for 136 each, fortera silentarmors for 129, and fortera tripletreds for 139. of course that does not include shipping and is not installed, but those are the prices I am getting in the book here.

what, wow...dealer pricing? How do I go about getting this?

Thanks for your help man

what i have done i nthe past was i went to discounttire.com and found what i wanted and they will give u a out-the-door price. then when i went in to the discount store they said it would be
$150 more.. i showed the guy the price online that i printed out and he gave me the tires i wanted for the price it showed online out the door. the tires cost me about $304 out the door online and at the store they was around $460. maybe something to look into. oh this was mounted and balanced ready to go

For people in the west I like onlinetires.com and tirecrawler.com.

Iirc aztireclub has a warehouse in Sd area so that might be an option too.

Idk how people are to get wholesale prices, but that's the prices that the dealers are getting from tire rack. I guess if you know a dealer well enough he could cut you a deal. But then again if you knew a dealer you probably wouldn't have made this thread. The tires I wanted were cheaper from discount tire than the dealer price from tire rack due to discounts free shipping but when I went to discount they said it would be $200 more! So I guess I will have to print something out and take it in.

I just got 4 new Kelly Safari Trex form Goodyear.. Started out at $159 per tire and talked him down to $119 + M/B and an Alignment all for $740.00 out the door. These tires ride great, Not like a Caddy but good for what I do here in NJ.
