Could someone please circle in this photo where I should tap for for a boost gauge, I'm fairly certain it should be one of the air lines coming off the intake manifold, I'm just not sure which line to tap. The red circles with question marks are the two spots I am think may work, I just don't know. Any help is much appreciated, thank you. I am sorry if this is a repeat of another thread, the only thing I found about it via search was an unanswered question.

Sure, the upper "?" you indicated, that feed to intake just behind throttle. p.s. You have a screw missing on the top of intake about 8" to the right of your "?" .

Thanks for the help, I will tap that line.

As for the missing screw, I think you're referring to the Map Sensor. On mine, there is only one tapped hole for the sensor, it only came with one screw from the factory. When I replaced the stock MAP with a 3-bar sensor a year ago, I purchased a Ford OEM bolt for it, but I came to find out there are no threads for the second hole. I am wondering if this is a manufacturing defect, can anyone else with a 2016-2018 Sport confirm that theirs has two threaded holes for the MAP sensor?

My bad, just went outside and confirmed 2016 Explorer Sport MAP has ONE mounting screw (sorry).

What type of gauge are you going to install?

You realize you can read boost off the PCM, right? All you need to do is download the Torque Pro app (I'd pay the money for the app, its well worth it), get yourself a Bluetooth OBD reader and your off to the races...you can read pretty much everything coming off the PCM and then some. You can make custom gauge setups too. I've got mine reading things like PTU temps, tire pressures, boost/vacuum, wastegate duty cycle, IAT1 and IAT2, and a few other important details...
