im alreayd planning on getting a set of rear leafs off of a 4 door for my sport, realizing the 4 doors have 1 more leaf... i am planning on 31x10.50s on my sport and want it to look tough with the bigger tires.. is the add a leaf/extended coil set up from skyjacker a good way to get a little lift? can anyone suggest a nice small lift? 90% of my driving is interstate.. i wanna look good but not destory my mileage. thanks.

I'd say get the 2" Skyjacker. I have that lift on mine with 31s, and it makes it look much tougher than stock. Also, with this lift you can tell the truck's lifted but it's still small enough that you won't have to worry about much of a mileage drop.

i called the local skyjacker dist. for a pice on the 2 inch ext. coil and add-a-leaf kit.. $209, pfft.. screw that. what was funny though is the guy said "you know you wont be able to align that thing after you put this on there" and my reply was simply "buddy, i hit a pot hole and i need an alignment, i dont care"

but, i think im just gonna put the 31's on there and the 4door rear leafs and call it a day. i just paid it off.. i dont wanna put a bunch of money into it.

i plan on either buying another Ex. or fixing mine up (body work), and doing the 2 inch coil spacers in the front and longer shackles in the back to bring her up enough to clear 31's on 15x8's

I'd be happy with that little mod.....for a little while anyways.

If mine looked like BMX's....that would be sweet

I say go with a little 2" Body lift... i think they make them for these cars. 100 bucks and do it yourself

Thanks for the compliment :D

Four0sport, you can get the skyjacker 2" lift from summitracing.com for only about $180.

well i guess it really can't cause its not a sport.

but oh well :D

I bought a set of spring packs from a Bronco (3 inch wide) and replaced my stock 2, 3 and 4 leaves with the corresponding ones from the Bronco. Springs cost $5 from a wrecked 78 Bronco and gave me 2.5 inches lift.

lol purple you beat me to the bunch thats exactly what i was going to say!
