I just bought a '02 Mountaineer and the dealership where I got it from put their emblem on it. Well I want it gone, what is the best way to do this without hurting the paint?

Heat it with a hair dryer and slowly peal it off. Clean off any adheasive with goo gone or similar.

If its the vinyl just use your finger nail to lift the edge and pull slow Just use alcohol to remove glue the longer its on the harder it is

Heat gun ( be careful )/hair dryer and monofilament fishing line. Clean up with solvent.

Fishing line and patience is the best way to remove them, as Al had mentioned. Just work them off a little bit at a time. Clean the adhesive residue off with mineral spirits or similar mild solvent (even WD-40 works). You might have to buff/polish the area where the emblem was if the paint around it faded...You'll still see the shadow of it in bright light otherwise.
