I have just completed the torsion twist and rear schakles and I am looking for tire size to put on it. My info says that I have 15x7 rims with stock P235/75R15 on it and I want to know what to put on it now?? The treads here are difficult to search through for this info. I am looking at 15x10.5 with 32" ?? Can someone with some knowledge here help??

Im no expert, but I think those tires are too wide for your rims.

with what you have dont I would just get 31s and stay with stock wheels or you can go to 15x8. Anything bigger for wheels or tires you are going to rub and it is annoying b/c even when you arent offroading you hit your fender b/c I do it and I hate it I just dont have the $$ for fiberglass fenders or more lift right now.

A 32x10.50 will fit fine with a 2.25" TT and shackles. You may need to do something else like an add-a-leaf to match the front because the warrior shackles give very little lift. I am running the metric equivalent of 32x10.50's and have no rubbing at all.

I was thinking of getting new rims as well but I still have confusion as to the tire size and what to ask for. I am basically trying to not look like an idiot when I go to buy this or better yet buy them through the internet

How much lift did you create with the TT/Shackles? Typically, with this setup, you prolly created 1.5" of lift(level). I don't think I saw whether you were 4wd or 2wd. If you are 2wd, you can crank the torsion bars further, and level the rear out with (double) add-a-leafs. If 4wd, I wouldn't crank the TBs up more than 2" and add a single add-a-leaf to bring you level.

If, you have accomplished the typical 1.5" lift with the TT/Shackles: 32x10.5/15s (maybe 11.5) will fit well with your stock, 15x7, rims. With only this amount of lift, there is no need to replace your rims unless you want to add more lift (and therefore bigger tires).

If you are considering wider rims and bigger tires, have you considered adding a body lift to go with tires up to 33x12.5s?

THANK YOU Morrisey01 Yes I was considering going with new rims for the look of bigger. As to the body lift I was going to stay away from that to keep my center of gravity lower. Although the tires and rims will adjust, it just thinking aloud. So 31x10.5 will work how does the tire roll on cornering go to much?? Being an ex-firefighter I tend to drive fast but want the off road capability. Alot to ask I know but hell we can drop a bomb down a vent tube from 15,000Ft we can find the answer.

i have 32's w/ stock rims and they fit on there nicely!

have TT/shacles/aal
