bigger tires

i want wider tires with no rubbing on my stock rims. I have a 96 exp sport. I dont intend on doing any off-roading, I just want a meaner, broader looking ride. I might get a lift on it later but wider tires just for now. I was told 10.5 would work but what about a 31x11.5 has anyone put this on or can you put this on stock rims without rubbing. I dont might slight rubbing in hard turns. appreiciate all the help

Hey I have thirty two eleven fifty's on my truck with just the torsion bars up and some shackles in the back , whole setup is about 50 dollars. I would think the tires you are talking about would work fine , who makes a 31x11.50.

Thanks for your help!!! Well, I decided to go with 275/60/15's on a 15x8 rim. I looked at some 31/1050 and they filled up way too much fenderwell. I went with the american eagle 589 rims. Tires well like I said they are about 10.5 inches wide. They look good for me. I havent made it to the big boys club. So I guess for now I am going to stay on the porch. But I like the way it looks anyway. Thanks again!
