Biggest Tires on 17" EB Rims?

What's the biggest tires that will fit on my EB's 17" rims?

I know on the 16's, 265/75/16's work, but what about the bigger rims?

I'm definitely into the BFGoodrich's everyone here raves about

A 265/70R17 will work no problems. Max I'd run would probably be a 285/70R17... thats a 33"

After 2000 miles, I've finally gotten around to snapping pics. Sorry to revive a (seemingless) dead thread, but I figure it's worth it.

Anyway, here's a few shots of 265/70/17's on my '03 Eddie. These are the absolute biggest tires you can go without running into big issues with rubbing on the upper control arm...just so you know.

I think what you're asking is if he had to modify anything to replace the tires with the larger size, and the answer is no.
