I’m new here, and think this is the right place to post this question. I’ve done a couple of searches to try to find the answer, but I’m just not finding it.

I have a 2010 Eddie Bauer Explorer, and would like to add a billet grill. In ordering this, it seems that there are two options: Limited or Sport Trac.

Which of these versions would the Eddie Bauer be compatible with?

Also, does anyone have a good recommendation of which billet works best? Seems like there are several options out there…

Thanks!

Sport trac is the one you want. But are you sure you want a billet grille? There are much nicer/classier looking grilles out there.

I'm up for any recommedations! I'm sure there are other options that I'm missing!

Does the KGS grille fit the 2010 XLT as well?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Doubt Ford changed anything in 2010.. if it doesn't though don't blame me!

Does anyone know if it would fit an 06 Limiited? Says 07 and up, is there a difference from 06 to 07?

Yes it will fit, my truck is an 06 with a limited front bumper.

You can get the KGS grille which is what I have

Or you can get the grille from the sport trac adrenalin, though I'm not sure if it fits. It should, unless its longer like I've heard from some people.

I think I'm gonna go with the KGS grille. It says professional installation is recommended...is that necessary? How difficult is the installation process?

Thanks!

I dont really want to bad mouth them, but I had a bad experience with them. Buyer beware.

This is copied from their website.

It's white. Which is why I was hesitant to go with black initially. Any other recommendations?

If you really want to know.

I ordered a grille from them for a buddy. It took 2 months of calls and people telling me it shipped without being able to give me a tracking number?! when it finally got here, it was broken (absolutely no damage to the box, it was shipped that way). I called my CC company and stopped the payment. I called them, told them if they want it back, they can come pick it up. I still have it, it must of been 2 years ago now. Maybe they got better, but I wont use them.

Good to know, thanks! Guess I'll keep looking around.
