I am trying to find a way to touch up the black paint around my 2002 Explorer windows. It is fading really bad and doesn't look good. Can anyone help me or have any ideas on what to use?

Thanks,

If the parts of the vehicle you want to paint are "plastic parts", many in here have used "Krylon Fusion Paint" which is made for painting plastics and needs no primer, but a primer can be used if you want to. Post up some pics of the panels you want to paint, so others can give you some more idea's on what to use and how to prep the area. Preparation is key to a quality re-painting job. You can also use the search box at the top of the forum to find past posts on that topic you seek help with. Just type a question into it and include the year and model of your Explorer.

Mine was mostly flaked off, so I just finished it by scraping the rest off.

I sanded it smooth, primed it, and sprayed it with DupiColor "semi-flat" black paint. It looks stock and has held up well.
