Blackberry 9800 (Torch) & Sync

Anyone have a problem with Sync with connecting thier Torch? I cannot get my contacts to download into it. So when I get calls, I can only see the number. I also cannot use the hands free ("Call Joe"), because it can't see any of the names.

I've brought this to the dealer and they installed all the updates, but it still doesn't work. I'm guessing this is a compatability problem with this phone and wanted to see if anyone else had this problem.

Is your Torch from work, and possibly via Enterprise Server? I have the same problem with my aftermarket Pioneer, both with a Bold and my new Torch. The reason? Our CIO decided to restrict some of the features of our blackberries, and as a result, I too cannot download my contacts to my Pioneer. I see numbers only. My voice dialing via bluetooth still works though.

After reading your post, I checked my phone and found that I "did" block the downloads for my phone book. I didn't even know that was an option. Anyway, I unblocked that on my phone and it loaded up to my Sync.
