a paragraph or two for you-

1. i like your truck. in fact i like it better than blackmagick's i think it looks hot and if i were in the market for a new truck i would be looking at doing about the same thing you have done except with KMC thunder 22s.

2. The sohc is a great motor stock for stock (especially the newer ones that don't have timing chain problems)

3. It has a high compression ratio stock as well and it will blow up if you put more than 6 or so lbs of boost to it.

4. with six lbs of boost on your sohc (produced by the phantom supercharger kit that explorerexpress has been saying is just around the corner for the last three years) you will not be pushing 300 hp at the flywheel and 240 at the wheels wouldn't be a bad guess.

5. my n/a truck runs times more than a second faster than the explorer express explorer x with their charger kit on a 5.0 the last it was seen at the track. so don't come in here and try to drop the name explorerexpress like we've never heard it and expect it to mean something. they are overpriced sellers of crap. (yes i know i have their air dam)

6. lets be friends, i'm not trying to be a dick, but don't come up in here and say stuff like that to people you don't know. i was just trying to help out by suggesting a course of action for modifying your vehicles (you and black) and i didn't mean to start a little tiff or whatever you turned it into. so from now on lets chill out and build some great explorers alright?

I can't do an engine swap. Too much hastle. Anyways, I have been talking to Vortech and they are planning on doing a prototype supercharger for the 4.0 SOHC, and my car may possibly be the car they build it on! Hopefully they aren't yaking my chain.

yeah, i really hope that charger kit comes out. there are a ton of people who could use it. but it is also really too bad that it will be so limited in the amount of boost it can run on relatively stock internals.
