I've had the broken blend door problem for a few months now. I tried the fix with inserting a cut nail in the actuator(?) shaft but couldn't get the heat set up to full. I thought I'd replace the door but the dealer doesn't stock them anymore (14$) and they're not in any dealer in southern Ontario. However, for $435 I could buy a kit that includes the door and probably the actuator and a few other unneeded items. What a deal. I chipped away at the underside of the plenum chamber until I could drop the door out, found the broken piece, crazy glued it back together, put the door back in, taped the chamber back together and will use fiberglass in a few days. So far things are working good. Has anyone else tried something along this line?

heh whatever works I guess. I have never tried anything like that as I would be fired instantly but like I said, whatever wiorks. Have had to do that terrible job twice now at work and never had probs getting the parts.
